Flooring & Paneling

Quality reclaimed wood flooring and paneling begins with salvaging these woods from a wide range of 19th and early 20th century structures. The raw timber is then expertly milled and controlled for quality at each stage of production, resulting in a beautiful, durable product.

Enduring the elements, these antique woods have accumulated the uncommon marks of long use to become an extraordinary object of nature and history. The transformation to modern building material is a visually stunning statement within a space, and an assurance that no living forests have been cut down.

Lumber & Timber

Sawkill Lumber Co. stocks five acres of reclaimed wood, collecting the widest possible range of antique and vintage lumber and timber. The inventory is available in-the-rough or with added value services and mill work as requested – including wire brushing, skip planing or surface sanding. In many instance, soap and water or a natural oil can often provide a warm revival of the woods without losing the rustic character.

Visiting the yard and mill to look at the inventory first hand is possible during working hours. Please call in advance to schedule. In some instances, photos can be forwarded.

The Stock List provides a full overview of the woods and services available. The broad scope of available materials often becomes more manageable after discussing the application, design vision, budget and other considerations.

Please reach us with any further questions or for sample requests.
